Ethiopia

Ethiopia is often referred to as the cradle of coffee - and rightly so. According to coffee history, the first coffee plant was discovered here thousands of years ago. But Ethiopia is much more than history. It is a country of incredible biodiversity, where coffee still grows largely in the wild, surrounded by forests and traditional agriculture.

Every bean from Ethiopia carries this heritage. The flavours are distinct, complex and often surprisingly fruity or floral. For many coffee lovers, Ethiopia is not just a coffee country like any other, it is in a class of its own.
